On Saturday morning we held the second stable visit to see the four Tomlinson racing horses.
We started the visit watching the 3 yearlings (Simmys Footprints, Blueandtangerine and What What What) start their morning training in the sand pit, before we moved on alongside the three furlong gallop watching What What What and Blueandtangerine stepping up the work, whilst Simmys footprints stayed working in the sand pit as he recovers from his banged leg.
We then moved up onto the mile hill gallop to see 3 older horses train before going up to the top stable, to visit our 4th horse.
Royal Pleasure is on box rest ahead of his wind operation on Monday. He looked in great condition and all being well, everything is on plan for the start of the season appearance, in our Blue & Tangerine colours.
After a cup a tea with Mick & David Easterby (and a flying visit from jockeys Joanna Mason & Billy Garritty) we finished off with a few photo’s with the resting up horses.
